Nurlan, over at Broadsign started a post a while ago on Ad sales that I commented on (with respect to the “Points of Pain” that you have to satisfy for the buyers) and thought it was worth a repost here, because it seems to be attracting some attention.
There’s a lot of questions swirling around in support of ad sales and the more these can be shared, the faster the sales process will mature…

Well, I think it’s that time again. Everyone I’ve spoken to seems to be going a little nutty on the work front so I think it’s about time we all took a breather and swapped stories. There hasn’t been a mixer since early last month so…
For those who haven’t attended one of these mixers yet it’s basically just a get together of industry folk for general good cheer and suds. Great way to meet your fellow Digital Signage Pros.
I figured it was about time that ADCENTRICITY picked up the tab for the munchies and such.

Move to new server - Rob Gorrie’s Blog now at www.robgorrie.com

Well, with the company move to a bigger office and my Chief Architect at ADCENTRICITY now actually allowing me to play with my own linux server (yes, despite my focus on advertising, I am a bit of a propeller head), I’ve decided to move my blog to these nice new digs on my own server.
I’ll maintain the old blog for a little while and maybe even do some dual posting but from here on in, you should repoint your browsers to this address:
