Digital Graffiti on Digital Signage

How’s this for an innovative use of technology? Bluetooth paired with Digital Signage that allows you to use your BlueTooth enabled phone, what looks like an OTA (”Over the air” downloaded) Java application and a lot of free time to “Spray” a design on a signage implementation!
This is where I really like to see forward momentum in ideas…
It’s this type of creativity that drives industries like ours. Instead of using Bluetooth for mundane ads, incentives and general “timed promotions”, when folks actually really start to build valuable APPLICATIONS that enhance the experience or entertain a consumer, that’s when your uptake really starts to hockey stick.
This particular “entertainment” works as follows:

1.) User downloads application on phone

2.) User Selects the color they want to use to “spray”

3.) User selects which type of “cap” to use for spray type (can you tell I know nuthin about tagging?)

4.) User uses various buttons to control where spray is located. What shows up on your phone’s display is what shows up on the LCD
Pretty cool all’round!
It’s creativity that will drive more effective uses of Digital Signage. I’m dying to see what people come up with in this light in the future. Who woulda thunk it? Real world entertainment using technology.
