Hot on the heels of their recent Press Release surrounding the report Nielsen performed on their Digital Signage venues, AdSpace Network
which operates a network of around 75 Malls throughout the US, just announced a funding round of $20 million.
This comes on the heels of the $10 million that RippleTV
The Venture crowd is starting to pay attention to the well focused and/or niche properties and rewarding them nicely for their early efforts. No word on what the actual valuation was.
Given that each Mall has around 15 screens and a typical install would be 50K-100K per mall, me thinks that that will allow an additional 200-300 malls and the rest dedicated to Operating Expenses and management.
