Rick Segal is a smart guy I ran into in my past life. He is a VC at JL Albright here in Toronto. Ex-Microsoft, Ex-Chapters, etc. I’ve run into him once or twice in the past. He’s got good insight, invests in a few companies owned by friends of mine, has turned down a number of my past (immature) ideas :), etc. but always entertains the conversation and gives good responses back to those who are willing/able to listen. He works in/funds primarily tech startups.

He started a blog a few months ago that I’ve been reading that has some good info/insight and I thought I’d pass it on given the amount of entrepreneurs that are in the Digital Signage business who may need some advice on the VC/funding front.
